Normally, I would say that when a project suffers from major scope-creep, that would be a bad thing. In this case, it was a great challenge. I was brought on board a project to direct an industrial film for a joint project between International Paper, WalMart and P&G. The concept was to visualize an RFID based package tracking system that could be viewed in real time, at anywhere along the shipping route. So I went to Texarkana, TX and shot around in the factory, and upon my return, developed some concepts for how the system could be visualized.

This visualization was very well received. So well in fact, that we were then charged with actually developing a prototype for the real interface. We worked with the development team, and came up with a working user interface, and it was deployed one experimental store.
