As this packaging was to be for Monk’s last season, it was given the motif of packing things up. The logo was packed away, as were some items of importance to the show. We still remained in the stylized world that we had given to Monk over the last 5 years of packaging, but this was a bit more sparse.

Monk 2008 was again shot in a studio environment meant to represent a stylized version of Monk’s world, this time with a silvery gray and red color palette.

The Monk packaging in 2007 was a continuation of the concept of the stylized world, but this time it was not only stylized, but idealized. Monk had his perfect white world, yet we gave him the opportunities to do what Monk does best. One of the first episodes of the season in 2007 featured Snoop Dogg, who re-recorded the theme song, and the packaging was cut to make a music video to promote the season.

In 2006, the goal with the Monk packaging was to keep things in Monk’s stylized world, but to have a color palette that was a little brighter and friendlier that the brown packaging from the year before.
